The Art of Meditation

About the session

Meditation, like the practice of yoga, is a state of being and not a state of doing. I often call it the sitting (even though there are dynamic meditative practices), because you settle progressively into stillness and physical non-movement in order to move gradually towards a slowing of the flow of thoughts. Once the flow of thoughts has slowed, you can enter a meditative state in which you transcend the everyday state of consciousness. You can enter another space and time… The aim of this workshop is to master the basics of meditation in order to gain autonomy.

For people living with pain

People in pain can improve their relationship with pain and lower the sensations through a regular practice

For people on a spiritual quest
